Fragment Analysis of the GT Equine and GT HapScreen® CFTR Kit on the Spectrum Compact CE System with Polymer4 In collaboration with Promega.

Genetek Biopharma is proud to announce that it has collaborated with Promega to perform Spectral Calibration and validate results obtained by a major brand’s capillary electrophoresis system. In this collaboration, Genetek tested two of its kits, GT Equine for horse identification and GT Hapscreen CFTR Detector, a haplotyping and aneuploidy screening kit using a CE system from a major brand and then provided the amplified samples along with the GT500 internal size standard and the GTM5 v2 Matrix Standard to Promega to perform Spectral Calibration and run samples on their Compact Spectrum CE System. They tested different dilutions of the samples and the results obtained were as good as those obtained from another CE system. We can therefore confirm that the Compact Spectrum CE System works well with Genetek multiplex kits as good as other CE systems as had been showed by some of Genetek customers in other countries. The results shared with us are provided below.
